Dr. Thomas Caprio receives Eli Rundin Award at Lifespan luncheon

Thomas Caprio MD, MPH, MSHPE Chosen as Lifespan’s Carter Catlett Williams Awardee for Excellence in Aging

Thomas Caprio, MD, MPH, MSHPE, Associate Professor of Medicine and Chief Medical Officer of UR Medicine Home Care and Hospice, is the 2018 recipient of the Carter Catlett Williams Award for Excellence in Aging from Lifespan. Dr. Caprio was also selected as the Associate Editor for Medical Education for the Journal of Gerontology and Geriatrics Education

Dr. Caprio is the medical director of URMC’s Geriatric Assessment Clinic, Chief Medical Officer of UR Medicine Home Care, and medical director of the Visiting Nurse Service. He received his medical degree from State University of New York at Buffalo and trained in Internal Medicine at SMD.
